I sprinted down the court ready to catch the ball, Emily our centre quickly lobbed the ball into the goal circle where I was standing straight under the ring to score a goal. I could hear all the parents cheering “up and in Krystal” so I shot the goal and heard the sound the net makes after the ball as it sunk in to it. The parents were now shouting “well done Krystal!” we were now ahead of our oppositions the lady bird’s netball club by about 4 goals. The Whistle had blown for quarter time so we went off the court and got a drink and then spoke to our coach about our game plan.
The umpires blew the whistle to notify us that the last quarter was starting “On court girls!” shouted the umpires. The whistle had blown and Katie had already ran out for the centre pass, she caught the ball as Emily ran around her player and ready to catch the second pass. Emily again quickly lobbed the ball into the goal circle where I was under the ring ready to shoot another goal. I pushed up the ball and it rebounded off the ring in to our Goal Shooter, Kasey’s hands, she pushed up the ball and WHOOSH the ball had gone through the ring and scored another goal!
We had won another netball game but this time it was against the top team. Since we had beaten them we are now the top team. My team mates, Emily-C, Katie-WA, Kasey-GS, Krystal(me)-GA, Emma-WD, Kyah-GD, Karlee-GK and Georgia-C (we have two centres because centre has to run the whole length of the court and that is tiring)
When I got home I put my netball gear away and sat on the couch. I turned the TV on and changed the channel to Nickelodeon. I Carly was on and my little sister came and watched it with me. My sister is called Danielle she is turning eleven in November which is in seven months but anyways… I am Krystal and I am turning 13 in November but I tell everyone I’m thirteen anyways because it sounds older.
KNOCK KNOCK was the sound I heard coming from the front door. I walked over to the door and opened it. Dad was home, he put his work gear away and then sat on the couch and changed the channel to FOX CLASSICS which at the time had M.A.S.H on.
“DAD I WAS WATCHING THAT!” I yelled while dad sat on the couch with his feet on the table watching M.A.S.H.
