The House of the Ocean's Will

Donna Walter’s my name and discovery’s my game! I thought this as I wondered along the metal railing of the pontoon below the house. I’ll be like Indiana Jones, I thought, not scared of anything; except he’s scared of snakes, but I’ll be scared of electric eels!

What is White

White is the grace of a flying dove, Seeking out its pair in love.

Tension slides off its glistening wings, Falling back into nothing.

White is the wedding dress that you devote, To the person you adore the most.

It’s love and peace in a soft, calm way.

Brackly Wood

I took a tentative step towards the fearsome wood. I was lost…surrounded by loneliness, scared beyond words. My fingers were numb from cold. But it wasn’t snowing or even raining. It was pure cold, a pure chill.

I'm neww. :)

this was one a the first few poems i wrote, let me know what you think :)

-One day I’ll learn that I have to live to be me,

No-one else- just me.

I can’t pretend to be someone I’m not.

I can’t pretend everything’s ok.

Because I know it’s not.

They need to know,

That I have feelings too.

They sit in class laughing at my misfortunes,

But they’re the ones who are misfortunate.

They talk about my life,

When they’re the ones who have no life.
