Things get even worse when he is forced to join the Port Road High footy team, coached by Clacker Clarke whose psychotic tactics provide more mayhem than magic. Enter Merlin – a replacement coach who steps in when Clacker is banned. Can Merlin work some magic on the team? At least all the players eventually manage to turn up at the one place at the same time and according to Merlin, that’s half the battle. But what would he know?
