Children’s author Katrina Germein writes picture books. Her books Big Rain Coming and Leaving have both been commended as Notable Books by the Children’s Book Council of Australia and are on the Premier’s Reading Challenge lists nationwide. Big Rain Coming is in its ninth year of print and is published internationally. Katrina’s latest book Baby Gets Dressed has been selected for inclusion in the 2009 Advertiser Little Big Book Club reading packs. In 2009 Katrina will also take up a writing fellowship in Melbourne granted to her by the May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust.
