Mike Dumbleton is a Literacy Consultant and a writer with many educational and children’s books to his credit. Seven of his picture books have been selected as Notable Books by the Australian Children's Book Council and Passing On was shortlisted for the 2002 Book of the Year Awards. Mike’s picture book Muddled-up Farm was selected as Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year 2003 and as the National Simultaneous Storytime book for 2004. Mike’s recent picture book Cat was the winner of the Picture Book to Performance Project for 2007. It has been developed into a play by Windmill Performing Arts and is a CBCA shortlisted book for 2008.
