Mike Dumbleton is a Literacy Consultant, currently working in New York, and a writer with many educational and children’s books to his credit. Seven of his picture books have been selected as 'Notable Books' by the Australian Children's Book Council and Passing On, was shortlisted for the 2002 Book of the Year Awards. Mike’s picture book Muddled-up Farm was selected as ‘Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year 2003’ and as the ‘National Simultaneous Storytime book for 2004’. Mike’s picture book Cat was a CBCA Honour book for 2008 and his latest picture book What Will Baby Do? was selected as the Victorian Libraries Young Readers Program gift book for 2010.
