There's always a lot to do in Mundowie, surfing the sand dunes near the haunted house; swinging across the creek on a rope; building tree houses in the backyard; and trying to kick a football over the roof of the Mundowie Institute Hall. Danny, his brother, sister and their friend Mark get up to all sorts of hilarious and hair raising mischief while Danny's parents are busy on the farm. But after facing a swollen dam, a menacing brown snake and a homicidal ram, Danny and his family face the biggest challenge of all.
