Anna Solding has had stories published in a variety of collections and literary magazines. In 2007, her second novel manuscript The Hum of Concrete was shortlisted for the Varuna Awards. Anna was fiction co-editor of Wet Ink from 2004 to 2006 and she currently co-edits the exciting live literary journal Animate Quarterly.

She spends as much time as possible playing with her two sons and writing her third novel Collecting Freaks - preferably not at the same time. Over the years, she has gained experience from a variety of boards. For the Writers' Centre Board she hopes to continue helping out with Young Authors' Night and other activities and events, especially for emerging writers, now that she is familiar with the running of the Writers' Centre.
