Nannette Halliday

Nan has worked with books, authors, illustrators, publishers and schools for over forty years. She is a former teacher, bookseller, educational consultant and marketing manager who owns and runs a small literary agency representing children’s authors and illustrators. In addition to this, Nan has been coordinating the May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust’s residential fellowship programs since 2001 and Come Out’s Literature Programs since 2007.

Nan completed a Graduate Diploma in Management (Arts) in 2004 and brings to the Board a sound knowledge of the writing and publishing industry and a commitment to supporting the endeavours of writers and illustrators.
