Ray Tyndale

Ray Tyndale started work as an economist in the Economic Section of HM Treasury in Whitehall in London, and has been on a fairly steady downward spiral ever since, tumbling past child-rearing and farming and psychotherapy and landing eventually in the English Dept of the University of Adelaide in the year it became the first university department to offer a Master’s degree in Creative Writing, 1997. Several years, degrees and publications later, Dr Ray calls herself a poet and is enjoying a very busy retirement. The latest book, farmwoman, published by Wakefield Press, is still exciting some interest.
