Members are invited to email pieces written on set themes to all members a week prior to meetings, or alternatively email extracts (maximum 1,500 words) from their current work. Computer access and email essential. Limit: 14 members (a waiting list may apply).

The objectives of the association include fostering the development of a writing culture in the North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide by: promoting, encouraging and assisting writers and co-ordinating writing activities, making writing accessible to the general community, and liaising and collaborating with other arts organisations. Writers of all genres are welcome.

The Yorke Peninsula Writers' Group aims to encourage fellow members and assist them in developing their writing skills. Members are encouraged to contribute to an annual book/booklet which the group publishes as a joint exercise.
