The SA Writers Centre is a disability friendly organisation and venue. We have wheelchair access and the Hi Hearing Deafness Friendly Location service for meetings and seminars.
'It is wonderful the incredibly productive life of Richard Llewellyn is to be memorialised by giving voice to South Australian writers with disability. The talent of the writers and authenticity of the stories is clear. Read, learn and enjoy.'
'The SA Writers Centre has proven to be a lifeline for me. I live with a mental illness and the Writer-in-Residence Program for people with a disability has given me the opportunity to voice my secrets through writing. The program has gently nurtured this passion while providing expert suggestions and direction to further develop my writing skills.'
Wheelchair/lift access is available
through the rear of the building at
26 York Street. Alternatively, you
can enter from Rundle Street via
Caffe Brunelli to reach the lift.
Please note that attendance at our events and workshops are free for a carer.
