Valerie Volk's poem 'Red' was re-published in the special commemorative June issue of Poetrix, sadly this magazine's final publication.

Janeen Brian's new historical novel for children 9 –12 years, That Boy, Jack, set in the the early Cornish mining settlements of Yorke Peninsula, SA, has been published by Walker Books. Her poem, 'How do you carry your cat?' was published in the June issue of Countdown, published by The School Magazine.

Edoardo Crismani's poem 'Finding the Spirit of Gallipoli'  was published in The South Australian Globalist, vol. 6, Autumn 2013. He has also settled a contract with renowned film producer Tom Zubrycki to produce the documentary titled 'The Panther Within', which Edoardo will both write and direct. The South Australian Film Corp has agreed to fund first stage development.

Kate Wise's short story 'One Moment in Time' was runner up in the Parenting Express/My Child short story competition and published in the December issue (2012) of the My Child magazine.

Steven Gepp had the short stories 'Adelaide' and 'Xanadu' published in the anthology A-Z Cities of Death (Static Movement Press).

David Adès' poems 'Under the City's Skin' and 'Instructions for Forbearance' were published in Red River Review (U.S.), May 2013 issue and Spiritus (U.S.), Spring 2013, vol. 13, no. 1, respectively. His poems 'Grief' and 'The Day Our Destinies Met' were published in Eye Contact (U.S.), Spring 2013.

Marianne Musgrove's new book, Forget-me-not Fairies, illustrated by Patricia McCarthy, was published by Hinkler Books. The Portuguese translation rights have also been sold. For more details go to www.mariannemusgrove.com.au

rob walker had poems 'Blue Wren', 'semi-detached', 'English class 2' and 'the girl on the train to Shikama' published in Four and Twenty Poetry Journal (vol. 6; no. 3), 21D (iss. 4), Short and Twisted 2013 anthology (Celapene Press) and Rabbit Poetry Journal/CD #7 respectively. His short story 'Celibacy, Tolerance, Time' appeared in Transnational Literature (vol. 5; no. 1, Flinders Institute for Research in the Humanities, ISSN 1836-4845, May 2013.) 'A Villanelle on Certain Provisions in Relation to a Bill concerning Anti-Terrorism by the Hon. Phillip Ruddock' was broadcast on ABC radio's poeticA on the 11 & 16 May. In February rob's poems 'yama reflecting', 'dunes' and 'shearwaters' were published in the CD booklet-insert for a poetry/music collaboration with Zephyr Quartet titled A Rain from The Shadows (Catalogue No. 9319505830410).

Kristin Martin has had the following poems published in The Mozzie: 'The Night Before Her Funeral' (vol. 21, iss. 3, April 2013); 'Six Time Round the Sun' (vol. 20, iss. 10, December 2012); 'Till Death Do Us' (vol. 20, iss. 9, November 2012)

Steven Gepp had his short story 'From The Forebears' published in the magazine Midnight Echo, vol. 9.

Janeen's poem, 'Colours Remembered', a poem about autumn, richly and beautifully illustrated by Bronwyn Bancroft, has been published in the May 2013 Touchdown edition of The School Magazine, while one of her latest picture books, I'm a Dirty Dinosaur, has been chosen by The Little Big Book Club as their selection for the month of June: theme of bathtime.

Marilyn Linn had two stories published in April in Positive Words: 'A Song In My Heart' and 'The World Around Us'.

David Adès' poem 'Firsts' was published in The Mozzie, vol. 21 iss. 2, March 2013. His poem 'Reflections' featured in Four and Twenty Poetry Journal's 'Four and Twenty of the Week', April 23, 2013 at 4and20.com

Jennie Cumming's poem, 'Rain', was published on narratoraustralia.com in February, and her two short stories, 'Reincarnation' and 'Changes', have been published on alfiedog.com

Valerie Volk's villanelle 'Demolition Day' was published in 'Poet's Corner' in Indaily on April 18, 2013. 

Murray Alfredson's poems, his series, 'Stolen' ('Amphitryon's luck'; 'Amphitryon to Herakles'; 'Alkmene at Amphitryon's grave'), and his 'Medusa', have been published in Mediterranean poetry (Goteborg).

Valerie Volk's poem 'Jasmine' was published in 'Poet's Corner' in Indaily on March 14, 2013.

Tony Brooks's historical faction novel, Halfway Human, set mainly on Norfolk Island, was published by Xynobooks and is available from Amazon.

Robert Moore's play Brewing is to be given a reading in conjunction with the University of Tasmania and CentrStage in Launceston as part of TasPride in November, while his latest picture book, Noelene Knows Best has been released in the US with Featherweight Press.

Steven Gepp had the following short stories published: 'Sugar Shack' is available in the anthology Song Stories, vol. 1 (Song Stories Press); 'Extinction' was published in the anthology The Temporal Element (Martinus Publishing); 'Another Endless Night' appeared in the charity anthology The Undead That Saved Christmas, vol. 3 (Rainstorm Press); 'Bobo' was published in the anthology Satan's Toybox: Terrifying Teddies (Angelic Knight); and 'Return Of The Blade' in the anthology Modern Pulp Heroes (Pulp Empire). His poem 'A Visit From Zombie Nicholas' was also published in the The Undead That Saved Christmas, vol. 3.

Fiona McCallum's fourth novel, Saving Grace, was published by Harlequin MIRA on April 1 2013.

David Adès' poems 'Blame it on Leon Uris' and 'Blindsided' were both published in Poetica Magazine (U.S.) – Spring 2013. His poem 'Seeing You, Briefly' appeared in Blue Pepperon 28 March 2013.

Marilyn Linn had a poem, 'The River Murray', published in narratorAUSTRALIA, two stories 'On the Road', and 'Birds of a Feather', published in alfiedog.com, and two haiku published in World Haiku Review, all in March 2013.

Dianne Hill's nonfiction book The Accidental Advocate: Positive Autism Stories was published in 2013. More details can be found here.

Sarah Connor's book Heart Deep: The Journey of a Light-working Emcee was publsihed by Balboa Press.

Meg Eichmann's poetry was included in the 2012 spring poetry festival booklet. Her novella Space Bird was the 2013 State winner for the national Somerset Celebration of Literature Novella Competition.

Ray Tyndale has three new poetry books out: Reflections: On a Road Trip to Darwin and Homecoming: Journeys of an Expat in Scotland, (both published by Unbridled Tongues Press); and Café Poet (published by Wakefield Press). Her poem 'slavery' was anthologised in Women's Work: a Collection of Contemporary Women's Poetry (compiled by Libby Hathorn and published on March 8th 2013, International Women's Day).

Murray Alfredson's poem, 'Stalked', was published in San Pedro River Review, 5,1, Spring 2013

Ray Clift's novellas An Echo of Remembrance and The Odyssey of Jen Lawrence were published electronically by My Ink Books, Canada.

Adeeb Kamal Ad-Deen's poem 'Something Wrong' has been published in Best Australian Poems 2012, edited by John Tranter. 'Something Wrong' appeared Ad-deen's collection Something Wrong (Salmat Press, 2012).

Janeen Brian has two new picture books out: I'm a Dirty Dinosaur (illustrated by Ann James and published by Penguin) and Meet Ned Kelly (illustrated by Matt Adams and published by Random House). Her poem, 'What did you learn at school today?' was published in Blast Off: the School Magazine, March 2013.

David Adès' poems 'Yoga Class' and 'Pyre' were published in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (U.S.) 16/2/2013 and 5 AM (U.S) iss. 36, February 2013 respectively.

Murray Alfredson's poems, 'Skull-locked' and 'The pivot', werepublished in Psaltery and Lyre, February, 2013.

Victoria Zabukovec's first historical novel The Second Landing has been published by Smashwords and Kobo eBooks.

Carla Caruso's second book, Second Chance, was publsihed by Penguin's Destiny Romance.

Allan Gaekwad's first book An Appreciation of Dorrit Black Paintings, foreword by Professor Marcello Costa, Professor of Neurophysics at Flinders University SA, was published in February 2013.
