Margaret Merrilees
Margaret Merrilees, aka Mag, grew up near Perth. Her novel 'The First Week' won the Unpublished Manuscript Award in the 2012 SA Festival Awards and will be published by Wakefield Press in 2013. An earlier novel, 'The Laboratory' was shortlisted for the 2004 Award. She has had shorter work published in Griffith Review, Meanjin, Island, Wet Ink and various anthologies. Mag was on the Board of the South Australian Writers Centre from 2007 to 2012.
