Barbara Wiesner—DirectorI came to the SA Writers' Centre in June 1988 with a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Arts) and experience as a teacher, community development worker and theatre company administrator. I'm proud to have been part of a pioneering organisation which has grown from a one-room organisation with a membership of 180 (and myself as a part-time worker) to a thriving association of 1200 writers, a comprehensive resource centre and four staff members. I love being surrounded by creative people and get a buzz out of seeing writers achieve their goals. |
