Mentoring

The SA Writers Centre doesn’t match beginner or emerging writers with mentors. If you’re interested in finding a mentor for your writing project, the following sites may be useful.

The Australian Society of Authors (ASA) has a Mentorship Program.

Arts SA also has a category for 'emerging artists mentorships' and another for writers with a disability. Details about the latter can be found in Richard Llewellyn Arts and Disability Trust handbook. The PDF for the Richard Llewellyn Handbook can be downloaded here. 

Writers aged 18-30 can apply to the JUMP National Mentoring Program. JUMP is funded by the Australia Council and administered Youth Arts Queensland.
