Latest Book: I Spy Mum!
New Frontier, (illustrator: Chantal Stewart), 2010
Using the well-known game of I Spy, a little boy searches for his mother. On the way he encounters a wide range of mums, all involved in a range of activities with their children, but can he find the one who’s his? Told in rhythmic, rhyming verse, the simple story is, like its companion I Spy Dad!(published New Frontier, 2009 & shortlisted for 2010 Speech Pathologist Award), a celebration of parents and children. The sense of searching and finding adds to the sense of jubilation.
